Facilities

Research facilities for the Institute for Shock Physics and the Applied Sciences Laboratory are co-located on the campuses of Washington State University in Pullman and Spokane.

The Spokane-based Applied Sciences Laboratory (ASL) of the Institute for Shock Physics is housed in the Innovate Washington’s Spokane Technology Building. The state-of-the-art facility is located within walking distance of downtown Spokane in the University District on the Spokane Riverpoint Campus.

The customized laboratories at ASL provide the infrastructure for the multidisciplinary research projects that involve Optical Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, and Computational Modeling and Simulations.
